Safefreight’s SafeAlert!™ is an easy-to-use web-browser fleet security application. When client defined events, such as:

critical fleet alerts (like temperature thresholds)
emergencies (driver distress), or
cargo thefts

are in progress, an alert notification is transmitted from the onboard hardware to a SafeAlert!™ enabled client or call center. Security or fleet operations specialists receive automatic text and audible alert notification with asset ID, GPS position, alert details, response procedures and report documentation windows.

SafeAlert!™ allows in-house or through third party call centers to:

Receive alerts for assets in the field. When a Safefreight onboard device - SecurityGuard™ and EnCompass™ - determines that an asset’s security rules have been broken, an alert is communicated to all personnel pre-determined as key contacts for the alert. Monitoring and response escalation protocols pre-programmed by the client, sensor alerts and status messages inform security personnel and/or operators of the type of alert and the step-by-step actions to be taken once the alert is received. SafeAlert!’s intuitive interface allows clients to pre-program escalating alert response protocols to initiate rapid response by operators, client security contacts and/or law enforcement and security agencies.
Access asset profiles.Using any web browser, personnel are provided with detailed information regarding the asset that raised the alert allowing them to respond appropriately.
Issue commands to an asset’s security devices. SafeAlert!™ allows users to issue commands in accordance with the escalation procedures, to assets equipped with remote enabled security devices, such as a vehicle immobilizer.
Access violation reports. SafeAlert!™ automatically records what actions were taken, when, and by whom, for reporting and review. SafeAlert!™ also provides escalation feedback tracking for each step in the response process, and delivers automatic alert notification and status messages to client fleet personnel or other security partners as required. Alert information and response feedback will be collected by the system and compiled as reports detailing the history of all monitoring and response communications.
