EMPLOYMENT
Account Manager – Solution Specialist

Position
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, as the Solution Specialist you will be part of a team of sales executives and sales agents who are responsible for providing sales, support and customer service to customers in specific industry verticals in Western Canada.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Following up on existing leads in the oil and gas, construction and transportation industries.
  • Assisting in the development of vertical and territory plans, specific account plans, and target call frequencies.
  • Involvement in developing processes focused on sales automation, customer communications, sales cycle management, and performance reporting.
  • Tracking and consolidating market and regional call activity and sales performance results using our existing Salesforce CRM solution;
  • Maintaining sound client working relationships at all levels.
  • Soliciting new account prospects, including responses to large tenders;
  • Good solution skills in matching client needs and the Safefreight suite of solutions.

The Individual
Given that the overall focus of this role is to provide proactive and results-oriented sales and leadership in growing the Alberta and Western Canada markets, it is important that you possess the following skills and experience:

  • A post-secondary education combined with related business experience;
  • Previous success in managing and cultivating customer relationships;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills – including a convincing demeanor;
  • A track record of successful team collaboration, motivation, and coaching;
  • A demonstrated ability to balance the interests and needs of the customer, the organization and the members of the divisional teams;
  • A team player with strong team leadership skills;
  • Sound business acumen and excellent financial/analytical skills;
  • Good computer skills with a sales automation aptitude; and
  • A willingness and ability to travel.

EMPLOYMENT
Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Position
This role is a junior level position that provides sales and marketing support to a growing team of high energy individuals. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales with a dotted line to the Director of Marketing.

Effective communication, the ability to take direction, and the ongoing support of a collaborative culture within Sales and across Safefreight is key components to
achieving success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for administering Salesforce.com CRM application and rolling up
weekly reports for management.

  • Working with Marketing and the VP of Sales to ensure lead accountability and follow-up across the team
  • Maintain all mailing lists and databases and co-ordinate distribution of electronic and hard copy direct mail campaigns
  • Co-ordinate logistics for sales/special events – both online and off – including webinars and trade shows
  • Performs related duties as assigned by VP Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Manage design of collateral material in support of the Director of Marketing and VP Sales.

The Individual
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience with CRM applications, ideally Salesforce.com
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sales, sales support, marketing or call center experience
  • Graphic design experience
